  3. What’s Going Well • Tests are going well. They really help show me if I understand. • During class, I feel like everyone knows each other well and people in this class work well together • Being able to work with other peers on projects is something I enjoy. Also, having quizzes every Monday keeps me on task with the reading and helps me remember content. • Class is entertaining • I am learning SO much. I really think the activitites help me understand. • Learning discussions • Video/slideshows • Class can be a little crazy at time but mostly constructive • Teacher is organized • Like talking in groups • Explanations are good and it’s interesting • I think pretests are tremendously helpful, more please!

October 16 • CLO– Students will: • Discuss the main idea of chapter six by discussing the focus questions • Watch a short video summarizing the Revolutionary War • Demonstrate their understanding of chapter 6 by completing a short written quiz • Compare and contrast the strengths and weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation in writing via graphic organizers • AGENDA • Partners • Chapter 6 Focus Questions & Quiz • Revolutionary War Video • Articles of Confederation & Graphic Organizer • HOMEWORK • Read Articles of Confederation Article & complete GO

  5. October 18 • CLO– Students will: • Compare and contrast the strengths and weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation in groups of 3 • AGENDA • Partners • Articles of Confederation & Graphic Organizer • Debate • HOMEWORK • Read Chapter 7 – Quiz Monday! • Chapter 7 Reading Notes
