French Embassy in China – S&T Department - Programme • Cai Yuanpei Programme - A French-Chinese funded common call for proposals. - The proposals should be more consistent and balanced between the two partners • Launched in 2009 • Partners: MESR, MAEE in France and MOE (CSC) in China • Objective: • To develop high standards scientific and technological exchanges between labs of the 2 countries around thesis in co-tutelle or co-direction • Main criteria: mobility of PhD and Post doct

French Embassy in China– S&T Department PHC CAI YUANPEI • Each project has a minimum of 4 people, 2 researchers and 2 students • Duration of the project is 2 years • 1st call: selection in 2010 of 22 projects among 82 • Funds are allocated to support the trips of the researchers, scholarships of the students, duration of the stays between 6 and 24 months on the 2 years
