  2. Hyksos and Kamose • (1560 BC) Hyksos invade northern Egypt and because the northern side of Egypt id now being governed by the Hyksos, Egypt divides itself. While trying to win back northern Egypt, the king Taa I is killed. • (1555 BC) Kamose, the son of Taa I, now king tries again to win back Northern Egypt after his fathers failed attempt, before the Hyksos push the territory they invaded farther and gain more land of their own. While getting prepared to fight Kamose dies suddenly and the cause of his death is still unknown.

  3. Ahmose Era • (1550 BC) Ahmose defeats the Hyksos and becomes Pharaoh of the once again, United Egypt. After defeating the Hyksos, Ahmose then goes on o defeat the Nubians and takes their supply of gold and gold mines. • (1550-1525 BC) Ahmose completes the Temple of Karnack and adds another wing in honor of the god Amen. • (1525 BC) Before his death, Ahmose pushes the border of Egypt into the Sinai desert and deep into Nubia. Shortly after is Ahmose’s death.

  4. Tuthmosis I Era • (1504 BC) Tuthmosis become the Pharaoh even if having no royal blood in his family. He was the Pharaoh Ahmose I’s daughters husband. • (1503 BC) Tuthmosis pushes back Nubia and challenges Mitanni to the east. He marks his rein with a series of Military Campaigns. • (1503-1492 BC) Tuthmosis gives the priest more power by restoring the Great Temple in dedication to the god Amen.

  5. Amenhotep I Era • (1525 BC) Amenhotep comes to power. (1525-1504 BC) Amenhotep I continues the campaigns against Nubia and leads a military expedition to Kush.

  6. RAMESSES II ERA • (1279 BC) Ramesses II defeats Hittites at the Battle of Kadesh. He present the victory as a great personal triumph. • (1279-1212 BC) Ramesses builds Grand Temples a city called Per Ramesses in his honor • (1279-1212 BC) Ramesses builds two enormous temples into cliff faces and he dedicated one to his wife and one to himself.
