  2. Architecture Workshop in Aug. 2011 • Date & Location: Friday, Aug. 12 2011 @ Daejeon, Korea • cf. Summer School: Aug. 8 – 12 • Workshop Style • Plan-A: an invited talk and paper presentations • both recommendations and direct applications accepted for invited talk • Plan-B: all paper presentations • Tentative Schedule • Early March 2011: start distribution of CFP • May 31: submission deadline (full paper, up to 8 pages) • July 11: notification to authors • July 31: final manuscript deadline Architecture WG

  3. Cooperation with IEICE-IA in 2011 • IEICE-IA, Japan • IEICE: The Institute of Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineers • IA: Technical Committee on Internet Architecture • Some high quality papers in School and Workshop will be recommended to IEICE Trans. • 1 invited paper from a big name, if possible • Tentative Schedule (not approved by IEICE): • deadline:Nov. 2011 • publication: Jul. 2012 • Reviewed in the normal review procedure • a TPC member serves as a reviewer per recommended paper Architecture WG

  4. Cooperation with IEICE-IA in 2012 • How about to hold School or Workshop in co-sponsored (instead of cooperation) by Asia FI and IEICE-IA ? • cf. IEICE-IA holds 8 workshops per year. • one of them is held overseas • Beijing, China in Oct. 2009 • Bangkok, Thailand in Oct. 2010 • Dalian, China in Oct. 2011 (tentative) Architecture WG

  5. Workshop Details • See tentative CFP (ver.02) • Is it okay that Teraoka serves on TPC Chair? • Who serves on Local Arrangement Chair? • Prof. Dongman Lee? • TPC members wanted! • 2 reviewers per paper • 20 TPC members required? • Both recommendations and direct applications accepted Architecture WG
