Homework • 1½ hours each week • Topical Homework projects. • Times tables and weekly spellings • Reading Records to be completed by an adult. • Homework is given to children at the start of each half term and this will relate to the topic which they are studying. It must be brought in every 2 weeks for checking and handed in at the end of the half term as a completed project.
Expectations • Routines: • 8:45am: school doors open • 9.00am: register closes/school day begins • Punctuality – being on time for lessons • Reading folders: reading daily with an adult, at home; reading folders – books, journals, diaries, etc. - in school every day • Homework, to support and improve learning • Homework completed, and handed in on time (Wednesday) • PE bags – black leggings, jogging pants or shorts, plain white T-shirt (not school uniform top!), black PE pumps for indoors, trainers for outdoors. Dance/Gym – Monday, outdoor games – Friday (at Leverhulme Pavilion). Bring PE kit on a Monday, and leave in school all week.
