  4. 7 Steps of Effective Planning • Set a broad goal or objective. • Decide what form the project/activity will take. • Get everyone affected involved. • Consider the resources available. • Develop a step by step course of action. • Consider alternatives. • Follow through to completion.

  5. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
