Indirect Command • Contains a command word – iubeo, mando, hortor, incito, persuadeo, rogo, moneo, etc. • Ends with a subjunctive • Uses ut/ne
Result • Contains a “so” word – ita, tam, sic, tantus, etc. and uses ut/ne • Ends with subjunctive • Set up like a “your momma” joke
Purpose • Usually best to identify last, as there are no particular words significant to purpose clauses • Uses ut + Subjunctive
