Why Twitter is used by SBLs Recent survey amongst SBL Twitter users concluded they use twitter to: • find new ideas, recommendations, inspirational; • Receive and offer supportive advice; • build networks; • access informal CPD; • share workload - people highlight key points from research, DfE press releases, educational news; • ask questions; • give and receive moral supportand reduce feelings of isolation; • read interesting blogs, which increase sunderstandingof common issues and themes; • follow suppliers/contractors, education staff from other schools.
