  2. 2016 Leadership • Nominations for Chair and Vice-Chair • Chair – Julie Thomas (Luminant) • Vice-Chair – Kaci Jacobs (TXU Energy) • Both are willing to continue serving • Elected by acclamation

  3. 2016 Goals • Continue TAC-directed review of reports for usefulness and accuracy • Identify reports for automation with appropriate NPRRs • Review existing reports on MIS for SCRs • Advance NOGRR084 Daily Operations Report project • Advance EWS Modification initiative • Maintain Open Items List to reflect status of active issues and smaller efforts • Other items as directed by COPS Additional Comment • While MDWG is not the official forum for ERCOT.com website, it is willing to be a conduit and pass information along to ERCOT.

Review of Market Data Transparency SLA • Dave Pagliai was present to review and discuss the Market Data Transparency Service Level Agreement (SLA) • Changes for 2016 were primarily release dates • MDWG will undertake review of the SLA document in 2016 • Request was made to provide high level notification of wide-spread MIS and EWS unplanned outages • ERCOT will look into what could be done • Added to potential scope for EWS Modification

  5. NOGRR084 – Daily Grid Ops Report Language and data elements still under ERCOT internal review Possibility for phased implementation Once ERCOT review complete, new NOGRR and Impact Analysis will be prepared

Open Items • Load Forecast Distribution Factors Report Change • Recommended ERCOT change publication timing • Once per day • 5 AM • NPRR754 submitted • Revise Load Distribution Factors Report Posting Frequency • Potential timeline: • February PRS • Impact Analysis at March PRS • TAC review • Board approval • Implementation 1-2 months after approval • 60-Day Disclosure data • Data in the offer curves is published as zero when should be null • Fix under development • Implementation early 2016

EWS Modification • Establishing EWS Modification as a project • Looking to find sponsorship • Solution evaluation • Reviewed development environment for concurrent messages • Can support ~1k messages/second • Prototyping has not discovered flaws in approach • Efforts in progress • Develop quick start guide for Market Participants • Open source version of API • Business case discussion • Establishing cost/benefits • Lightweight, modern design • Decreased barrier to entry for new MPs and smaller shops
