SDAWG – Mini Market • Large attendance • Detailed discussion of settlements • Possibly the base of the settlements training course • Discussion?
Commercial Operations Data Extracts - Changes • Settlements Calendar • Dispute Extracts • Load, Generation and Settlements and Billing Extracts\ • DLF, TLF, UFE reports
Settlements Calendar • Would be one record per operating day, settlement run. The invoice date and other requirements from Protocols would be published for each record. This is a change from today’s market. Today, each row shows all settlement information for that day. • Would be updated daily
Dispute Extracts • We put off discussion of the dispute extracts until the next SDAWG meeting, when this will be an agenda item.
Load, Billing, S&B Extracts • Header records include: H – UID, RECORDER, CHANNEL, ORIGIN, STARTTIME (OP DAY), STOPTIME, UOM <MEASUREMENT_UNITS_CODE>, SECONDS_PER_INTERVAL, DATA.ADDTIME/TIMESTAMP • Details records include UID, INT_ENDING, INT001_VALUE, INT001_STATUS… • XML format
PROS: Newer standards Flexible with multiple programs (XML Spy, MSXML from SP7) Statements and Invoices are both produced as XML Consistency with other file formats Metadata support Style sheet could ‘prettify’ the data set like Client Data Reports Can reference field name to value Possibility to eliminate need to join multiple records in DDL CONS: Increased file size MPs that lack expertise to use it (Office 2003, 2007 support) Not able to use/modify loading tools from today for csvs (or would have to have a tool to convert from XML to CSV) Pros/Cons of XML
NPRR 78 • Suggested motion: COPS endorses and recommends NPRR 78 to PRS.
