Una interpretazione L'uomo, attraverso la capacità creativa del “pensiero narrativo” nell'atto di costruire storie, articola il proprio significato spiegando l'esperienza immediata, quindi nel raccontarle e condividerle crea ambiti di significato comuni che assumono un ruolo fondante la relazione stessa. Nell’uso delle tecniche non c’è un copione da seguire, infatti si ricorre ad esse solo se i fattori sistemici lo permettono. E' qui che si colloca la rappresentazione spaziale come spontaneità terapeutica e non come tecnica, in quanto la spontaneità non si associa a un unico significato, ma a molte possibilità di espressione che possono essere assunte all'interno di una cornice.
