  2. wku mascot • WKU’s mascot is Big Red. • Big Red is a hill because the college’s nickname is the hilltoppers.

  3. Alumni ( the famous) • Many famous people graduated from here. • Terry Willcutt, Kentucky’s only astronaut graduated here! • Clem Haskins played and graduated here! He is currently head coach of the University of Minnesota.

  4. Sports • WKU has one of the best basketball programs, up there with UK! 18th in the nation in total wins! • WKU has a multitude of sports like any college.

  5. meteorology • WKU has many great programs, but the newest is the meteorology program. • WKU is the only college with this program in Kentucky. • I am a Jim Cantore fan. Jim is one of my main inspirations! I plan to attend WKU to get my degree in meteorology.
