How to be a Teahead… Teahead (f noun): Pertaining to someone that is obsessed with the band, The Tea Party. Term originated on a fansite 7 years ago. • 11. If an album happens to be copy-protected, curse accordingly and buy the iTunes versions. • If something bad happens to the band, like back problems or other sicknesses, be sad according to how bad the problem is. • If you see another Teahead, sing the anthem (Master & Margarita). • Chillax by popping in your favorite Tea CD, taking a very warm fleece blanket and just… Chill! • If you meet them, try not to act stupidly. (I.E. Teeny-Bopper-like) • You must know the fact that Jeff Martin has over 32 guitars… And smashed one at a concert but otherwise will never do so. • If you’re at a CD store, make sure that TTP’s CD’s are obviously visible. • If you play an instrument, learn a song by TTP. • You must make sure to never call Jeff by the name Jim, and not to call the drummer Jeff but Jaybee or Brz. • Use this guide!! • You must have all of their albums. • You must have blasted one of their albums really loudly from any available sound system. • Whenever you hear someone else playing the Tea Party, strike up a conversation with them. Hug if necessary. • You must do the happy dance when you hear of them starting a tour, releasing a new album or of good news for the band. • You must see them at least once, unless you were completely unable to see them (the concert was 19+, there was no concert in my area) • You must watch eBay for cheaper copies of their indie CD or tape. (The CD’s are usually around 300$) • If they’re in a magazine you can buy, BUY IT! • Buy their DVD. • Buy the tour edition of certain CD’s, even if you might have most songs on that CD. • Your friends must have heard at least song by your volition.
