    3. Write the following questions on your own paper, and then follow the link on the next slide to find the answers : How are the actual ziggurats different from the model in my classroom? Why was it important to raise the temple higher than ground level? What was their purpose for the ancient people who built them? (In other words, what did they build them for?)
