Simple Fruit: • Buah Berdaging (perikarp berdaging saat masak) • Drupe (buah batu) : berasal dari satu daun buah, biasanya mempunyai satu biji. Eksokarp berupa kulit yg tipis, mesokarp berdaging dan endokarp berupa lapisan keras (stony). Mis: plum, rambutan, mangga, cherry, kelapa. • Pome : berasal dari bbrp daun buah, dasar buah dan bagian luar perikarp berdaging, bagian dalam perikarp seperti kertas. Mis: apel, pear, delima.
