Energy Master Plan (EMP) Purpose: • Identify energy usage within SEC (BASELINE: how much, what for, impact) & RE resources • Identify energy saving and renewable/low carbon energy opportunities (REGISTER) • Decision-making support for WORK PLAN • Monitoring energy usage and tracking opportunities

  5. Scoping your EMP Things to consider: • Your SEC’s mission (ENERGY CHARTER) • Geographical scale • Energy users (sectors) to be included • Existing data and relevant plans • Level of accuracy/granularity of data required • Budget available • External professional & internal input • Nature of deliverables
