Users within this role have the ability to: Search for and view all bellringers within the agency View all bellringers waiting for Service Desk Recommendation Submit Service Desk Recommendations Overview of Service Desk User Role
After launching the Automated Bellringer eTool, the first screen displayed is the Home screen. Automated Bellringer: Welcome Screen Click on “My Workload” to see all bellringers waiting for Service Desk Recommendation. Click on “Search” to look for a specific bellringer.
The My Workload screen has three tabs: Open Tab: Lists bellringers waiting for Service Desk Recommendation. Drafts Tab: Lists Draft Service Desk Recommendations. Closed Tab: Lists all closed bellringers. Automated Bellringer: My Workload Click the view icon to go to the View Bellringer screen.
The View Bellringer screen has three tabs: Bellringer Updates: Lists the original bellringer plus any updates. Service Desk Recommendations: Lists any previous Service Desk Recommendations and the Service Desk Recommendation form. Final Approval Decisions: Lists any previous Final Approval Decisions. Automated Bellringer: View Bellringer Click the Service Desk Recommendations tab to see the Service Desk Recommendation form. Click the view icon. A new window will open to display the bellringer details.
Automated Bellringer: Service Desk Recommendation Form Any previous Service Desk Recommendations will be listed here. Enter the Service Desk Recommendation details and click “Submit”.
After submitting a Service Desk Recommendation, the My Workload screen is displayed. Confirmation that a Service Desk Recommendation has been submitted. Automated Bellringer: Confirmation Message
