Exploiters may… Play on your fears: “If you don’t do this, I’m going to show your Mom the pictures we took”

Relationship Red Flags • He asks you to do things that leave you feeling guilty or shameful • To convince you he says things like, “Do it for us” or “You’d do this if you loved me” • Love and Abuse are tangled together • He has way more power in the relationship
Relationship Red Flags • He is controlling - constantly checks up on you • He gets you to do what he wants by threatening or hurting you • He doesn’t allow you to have boundaries – You’re not really allowed to say “no”
