Promotion of intercultural dialogue in Montenegro Strategic objectives: • promotion of intercultural dialogue as a process in which all people can improve their ability to deal with different and complex environment.
European Year of Intercultural Dialogue • The Commission adopted on 5 October 2005 a proposal for a Decision of the European Parliament and of the Council to declare 2008 "European Year of Intercultural Dialogue".
The main targets of the project • improving knowledge of the relationship between cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue in the context of globalization • promote cultural diversity • understanding the new cultural territories of young people • stimulate the role of education as significant instrument for teaching about diversity

Sources of funding: • The Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) is the Community's financial instrument for the pre-accession process for the period 2007-2013. • Assistance is provided within the framework of the Europian Partnership of the potential candidate countries and the Accession Partnerships of the candidate countries • Budget of the project 50,000 €
Fields of action • Training courses – (develop skills, attitudes, knowledge of young people) • Seminars ( 20 – participants selected by partners) • Workshops – (how I.D. can be integrated throughout society) • Cultural weeks (organizing to emphasize the promotion of I.D. by involving students, universities, NGOs ) • Creation of website ( to inform large group of people about activities etc.) • Interchange of students
