Curriculum Design and the Student Journey: Kaplan International Colleges Academic calendar: Shorter holidays to allow for greater social integration and to prevent regression of language skills • Dedicated weeks built into the calendar for: • Review and revision • Assessment preparation • Next term ‘taster sessions’ • University link activities • Enrichment and extension opportunities • Throughout the pathway programmes, students receive: • One-to-one and group tutorial support • Formative and summative assessments relevant to their intended degree • Support in becoming autonomous learners • Pastoral support including a full social programme
