  6. SITRA – Supporting People Data Consultation • Were you aware of the consultation? • Do you agree that data should continue to be collected nationally? • Will you continue to collect the necessary data? • Will you pay for SPOCC 2013 (which will support the new SITRA national data set?

SITRA – Supporting People Data Consultation • To provide information and evidence for policy decisions, local commissioning and provider improvement: • Outcomes measures (service user and services) • Service performance and quality • Benchmarking for providers and commissioners • Commissioning and funding strategies • Understanding service users’ met and unmet needs, and demand for services • Demonstrating the benefits of housing related support • Providing information for service users.

  8. SITRA – Supporting People Data Consultation • Recommended improvements to previous data collection and methodologies: • reduction in duplication of data • removing unnecessary data sets (such as staffing hours) • Improving clarity of data definitions.
