We will guide you through the process! • Wednesday, November 21, 2012 • University Online Application Tutorials • These will run all day, each period • Each tutorial will be ½ a period in length • You MUST attend a tutorial to receive a PIN# • You NEED a PIN# to apply to an Ontario University • One lunch hour on November 22, 2012

Key Dates • December 14-21, 2012 • Deadline for Ancaster High: All students should have their application completed, submitted and paid for by this date • You can still amend your application after you apply • January 16, 2012 • Deadline for Ontario University Application Centre: Students who have not applied by this date may not be considered for their university choices

  16. After January 16th…….. • Applications received after this date will still be processed by the OUAC and distributed to the universities. However, specific university deadlines will apply

  17. Key Dates…continued • February 14, 2013 • Semester 1 final marks are submitted to OUAC: students must check the accuracy of these marks • April, 2013 • Most early offers of admission are given (some exceptions) • Students not eligible will be reconsidered in May

  18. Key Dates continued • April 25th, 2013 • Semester Two midterm grades are forwarded to OUAC • May 29th, 2013 • The latest date by which all applicants shall expect: 1) an offer of admission 2) a refusal, or 3) a deferral pending the receipt of more information

  19. After May 29th…. • Some programs consider this date to be the only offer of admission date • Students who do not receive an offer here must consider other options

  20. 3) ACCEPT • Earliest date by which you may be required to respond is: JUNE 3rd , 2013

  21. Offers of Admission • ALL offers of admission are conditional until you meet ALL requirements of admission • Each conditional offer of admission will state the requirements of the offer • Ex. Must maintain a 78% average • ALL conditional offers of admission will be confirmed in JULY after final grades are submitted to OUAC
