  3. So what is a Penny War? Each class pair will have their own jar outside the lunchroom. Brewer/Veazey Blankenship/Little Irvin/McEwan White/Woodham G/Ruis Harris/Wilson Harrison/Pickett Goggins/Robbins The goal is to have the most PENNIES in your class jar.

  4. But, there’s a CATCH! If you put money or change that is not a penny, then that TAKES AWAY POINTS from that jar! Penny is worth 5 points Nickel takes away 1 point Dime takes away 2 points Quarter takes away 3 points 1 Dollar Bill takes away 4 points 5 Dollar Bill takes away 5 points 20 Dollar Bill takes away 20 points!!! 10 Dollar Bill takes away 10 points

  5. So you want your class jar to have lots of pennies, but not a lot of anything else!

  6. All proceeds will be donated to the Birmingham Children's Hospital

  7. There will be a 4th grade pair and a 5th grade pair that wins! • So that means 4 total classes will win! What do you win? • Prize: • Pajama – Popcorn – Movie Party • in the Auditorium!
