  4. Then the paperwork starts and the love of acronyms comes out TRP TC TG SSPCs URPs EHC REF MTGs WS RTAR RAC PAS

  5. Breaking it down It’s really not that complicated • The idea is reviewed by RAC • Worthy of additional work • Already being done • No further work needed • Work Statement is produced

  6. Work Statements • Outlines the Research • Objectives • Funding Ideas/co-sponsorships • Conflicts • Research Activities Subcommittee • Reviews the WS • Forwards to RAC for formal approval

  7. Research Administration Comm. • RAC • Approves Work Statements • Out to bid • Becomes a Request for a Proposal • basically a Research Project
