Personification gives human qualities to something that is not human. Example: The stars danced playfully in the moonlit sky. =
Rhyme is the repetition of sounds at the ends of words. Example: speech and teach.
Repetition is the use of any element of language—a sound, word, phrase, clause, or sentence—more than once. • example: Happy birthday to you, • Happy birthday to you, • Happy birthday dear … • Happy birthday to you!
Alliteration is the repetition of consonant sounds in the beginning of words. Example: slippery slope
