More about this coffee and region…. • This coffee was developed in 2004 for the Consumer Products Group (CPG) to be sold exclusively in the grocery channel in the U.S. and Canada markets. • This blend provides another flavor profile among our Africa coffee lineup that is different from (STARBUCKS)RED East Africa Blend (brown spice, cinnamon, nutmeg) and Kenya (currant and grapefruit). • East Africa is the birthplace of coffee.
Africa Kitamu: Stamp Art The stamp art reminds us of the birthplace of Africa Kitamu – a villager riding in a traditional (and still used) dugout canoe to navigate the river systems, with the proud and famous Baobob tree in the background.
From its beginnings in 1991 our Licensed Stores portfolio has grown in size and importance. Licensed Stores Licensed Stores are Starbucks stores that offer great coffee, tea and customer service; however, they are owned and managed by a licensee. Starbucks enters into licensing agreements to provide the Starbucks Experience in locations including local department stores, hotels and resorts, colleges and universities, hospitals, casinos, airports, grocery stores and other locations.
