Cluster Priorities – Short Term Customer Service Management • Managing evolving common services • Delivery of Cluster Integrated Service Agreement (ISA) roadmap to meet customer expectations • Continuous customer service improvement initiatives: • On time/on budget/on delivery, fit for purpose • Reporting delivery, consumer based, consumption and costs • Support green initiative (e.g., power management and printing strategy) Justice Video Network (JVN) • Largest justice video network in the world • Video over IP transforming the business, including the OPS Green strategy • Future strategy and procurement process (see page 7) Court Digital Recording Devices (DRD) • Implementation in Ontario courtrooms, replacing analog technology

Cluster Priorities – Short Term Major Applications Portfolio Strategy (MAPS) • Implementing the Victims Notification System (VNS) – Legacy Replacement • Level of Service Inventory – Ontario Revision (LSI-OR) – Correctional Risk/Need Assessment Instrument – Upgrading infrastructure and database • Offender & Youth Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS/YOTIS) Modernization – Upgrading infrastructure and operating software • Goudge Inquiry/Coroner’s Information System (CIS) – System replacement • Court Information Management System (CIMS) – Strategy for integrated view into foundational trial court applications Emergency Management Enterprise Systems (EMES) • Opportunity for emergency management (EM), business continuity (BCP), and disaster recovery (DR) Crowns Management Information Systems (CMIS) • Phase 1: Document management

Cluster Priorities – Short Term Enterprise Information Management (EIM) • Corporate VOR in place –Strategy and development work expected to commence Fall 2009 Guelph Data Centre (GDC) Transition – March 2012 • Planning and design phase for Justice application transition Office of the Children’s Lawyer (OCL) • Replacement of document/business process management application

Cluster Priorities – Longer Term(in the next 18 months) Courts Technology • Video Conferencing / Vulnerable Witness Testimonial Aids / Digital Evidence Display Technology Justice Video Network (JVN) • Implement RFP VOR result and rollout of future strategy Continue Major Application Portfolio Strategy (MAPS) • Multi-year/phased strategy to update/replace key systems – as referenced on page 3: • Level of Service Inventory – Ontario Revision (LSI-OR) • Offender & Youth Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS/YOTIS) Modernization • Goudge Inquiry/Coroner’s Information System (CIS) • Court Information Management System (CIMS)

Cluster Priorities – Longer Term(in the next 18 months) Enterprise Information Management System (EIS) • Implementation in the justice environment in line with a maturing information management strategy Business Intelligence (BI) & Performance Measurement (PM) • Continued refinement of business intelligence and performance measurement services Reduce total cost of technology • Reuse of components • Consolidation of environments • Elimination-reduction where possible through • Shared environments • Virtualization
