Magnetic field non-uniformity around the tracker • Tracker was placed in the solenoid magnet bore with the center shifted upstream • Magnetic field is not uniform through station 1 to station 4 • 20% drop at station 4
Magnetic field correction • Assuming 1-Tesla uniform field, fitted pz has bias. • Effective magnetic field on the tracker is Bdl = 0.96 Tesla. • Bdl : averaged magnetic field along the path of muons MC input Fit assuming uniform B Corrected with Bdl longitudinal momentum
Measured momentum • MC is tuned by using profile and Time-of-Flight at TOF hodoscope • Momentum distribution measured in the tracker is well agreed with MC simulation. Beam momentum at TOF hodoscope
Transverse momentum • Transverse momentum distribution become broader due to the non-uniformity of magnetic field • The distribution on station 1, 2 and 3 are same.
Tracker acceptance • Acceptance on tracker is studied by selecting incident position on TOF hodoscope • The region of TOF3xTOF8 is acceptable by tracker for all momentum range
