CO2 unit assembly status • 1st unit: • All hardware installed • Pressure tested at 186 bar • Leak tested • Cabling components to terminals ongoing • Pending: • Heater sealing • Panels (will be done at CERN) • 2nd unit: • Cold pipes installed • Warm hardware being assembled • Pending: • Cabling • Pressure and leak test • Panels (will be done at CERN) • Foreseen date of delivery: • End of September (Foreseen 23 September)
Accumulator unit • Accumulator almost finished, waiting for final Lloyds inspection. • Assembly at Nikhef about to start, now CO2 units are getting ready. • Foreseen early October delivery will be few weeks later.
Chiller status • Chiller design completed by factory. • All parts arrived at company • Racks are being transported from Nikhef to company. • Assembly start next week • According company units ready mid October. • Will be delivered faster than foreseen schedule (was early November)
