The most strategic land for protection and security of Armenia and security of Artcakh. Azerbaijan 1921 to 1988 “Armenians living here began thinning out 100 years ago and as a result of the policy conducted by Stalin it became a part of Azerbaijan.” After 1994 ceasefire

  4. After 15 years of resettlement, the region of 300 square kilometers now has about 15,000 residents. Of 127 settlements, not all have electricity. They use what the local environment and nature provides. Not all have purified drinking water system. Kashatagh Today Artcakh has a population of 137,737, and 99.7% of whom are Armenian, according to the census taken in 2005.
