CHATAK FOOD PRODUCTS LIMITED • Company Profile It all began in the year 1980 in a small shed in the vicinity of Rapsey Street in a quiet village Curepe, we woke up to what was to be the greatest success story of indigenous Caribbean condiment production. It was the inception of Chatak Food Products Limited a private family business that was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Sankar Ramnarine and their children. The Company came into being with humble and traditional values and as destiny would have it the family business grew in both scale and operations. By the year 1991, the trading company had become a partnership firm. The company now had its own premises at Lots 5 & 6 IDC Industrial Estate Fredrick Settlement Caroni. The growth curve was on a steady incline, it was here that the business turned a new leaf, as time amble away the changing dynamics kept on adding new features to their credit and new figures to their balance sheet by consolidating shipments of condiments to the American and Canadian markets. In the following years we saw a phenomenal growth in the company’s turn over, where the company stands today is just a preface of what is yet to be achieved. The kind of precision and hard work that has been achieved shows the essential part of the company growth and success.
