What A pediatrician does • Pediatricians focus on the physical, emotional, and social health of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults from birth to 21 years. • Pediatricians work on the prevention, detection, and management of physical, behavioral, developmental, and social problems that affect children. • Pediatricians diagnose and treat infections, injuries, and many types of organic disease and dysfunction. • They work to reduce infant and child mortality, foster healthy lifestyles, and ease the day-to-day difficulties of those with chronic conditions.

  3. Where I would live I will be living in Tampa Florida, where I will be attending USFa 4 year college. I will be living in an apartment near USF college . Relocation is necessary because in Madison Fl, we currently have no pediatrician s. In addition, I will be attending USFand I will major in the medical field.

  4. Educational requirments It is preferred that students meet the following requirements: Minimum completion of three years of college coursework after completion of high school diploma (more preferred are students with a bachelor's degree) Prerequisite science coursework should be designed for science majors Science and math courses should be completed during the regular academic year and not during a summer term.

  5. Experience necessary It varies a lot depending on what country you live in. Pediatricians begin their training with a tertiary-level course in a medical school/university A medical degree takes around four to six years. Pediatricians need to train about three to six more years, depending on the degree of specialization.

  6. Yearly income Salary $72,091 - $165,737         Bonus $504 - $29,361   Profit Sharing $1,000 - $29,282   Commission $111.74 - $97,992   Total Pay (?
