  2. Henry Hudson • Henry Hudson was born in Hertfordshire, England • Henry Hudson was born in the year 1570 and he died in the year 1611 (1570-1611)

Expedition • Henry Hudson tried to find a fast route from England to the islands of spicier, he failed and again the next year • Henry Hudson went on another voyage and ended up near a river and he named it the Hudson River, he was in what is now known as New York state • Henry Hudson was assigned to do a voyage around Cape of Good Hope, he was provided a ship named the Half Moon, he was also given 20 English and Dutch soilders
