  2. PT/SP Connections • Have a brief conversation about the work you have completed in BTSA so far this year. Consider and respond to the prompts below. • What have you learned about your practice? • In what ways are you improving?

Effective Instruction Handout pg. 2 The California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs) and the Induction Standards address the ways in which teachers: • Engage and support ALL students (CSTP 1) • Create effective environments (CSTP 2) • Organize subject matter (CSTP 3) • Plan instruction/design learning experiences (CSTP 4) • Assess student learning (CSTP 5)

  4. CFASST Event 3 and 5 • These events provide an opportunity to capture information about your practice in lesson planning, teaching and examining student work. • After reflecting on your practice, you will develop an Individualized Induction Plan. The IIP should be revisited frequently to monitor and update.
