  4. Culture Survey - at a glance • Purpose: To improve the safety culture, including teamwork and communication, in surgical departments • 14 hospitals, including 9 NSQIP hospitals • Approximately 70 units • 2600 staff

BC has an amazing research opportunity • SAQ data is good data, and NSQIP data is good data • Ability to assess correlation between safety culture and clinical outcomes 1) on this scale 2) with good data • Assess effectiveness of interventions • As reflected in NSQIP data or measures of culture
