  3. U fis-sajf għal ħdejn il-baħar! Ninżel fl-ilma ma nitlax! Jew bil-qasba fuq xi blata, Forsi naqbad xi burqax!

  4. Fil-ħarifa t-temp jiffriska Bi sħab abjad fis-smewwiet! Tinża’ is-siġra l-weraq tagħha, Tibda x-xita bil-ħalbiet.

  5. Bard u kesħa, uff xi dwejjaq! Għadda ż-żmien u x-xitwa bdiet! Imma nifraħ għax f’Diċembru, Tiġi l-festa tal-Milied!
