Annual- Every Year Since 2001, the SFSU Exit Survey has been administered. • Timing – The survey is taken as part of the graduation application process in all semesters • A Collaborative Project- The Division of Enrollment Planning and Management, together with the office of Academic Institutional Research, providing: Environmental Studies Graduates Exit Survey • Continual Opinion Flow - Exit Surveys provide on-going, year-to-year feedback, with longitudinal trends visible from the same questions every year. • Comparisons/Contrasts - Both 1) yearly measures, and, 2) Department vs, “All SFSU” scores highlight specific areas for attention and improvement. • Distribution – The all-electronic graphic process allows for easy understanding and convenient distribution to other interested parties.
Multi-year Analysis - SFSU Undergraduate Exit Survey, by year and academic program. • Student Opinion Data - Comparing Department/Program graduates to total SFSU graduates. • Annual - Administered to graduates in Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters. • Charts – Each chart contains response frequencies, “n”s & statistical significance for each question. EXIT SURVEY: Environmental Studies Graduates Methodology • Data collection - Part of graduation application process. • Link – Graduates are linked to the HTML survey online, where opinions are entered and stored on the server. • Stored data - Transferred, organized, sorted, and analyzed, with SPSS software by Academic Institutional Research. • Reports - Developed in PowerPoint format and distributed via EMAIL. • No Paper - The entire process is ELECTRONIC .
