KristjanRaud (1865-1943) He was a painter and he illustrated Kalevipoeg, the national epic.
Karl Ernst von Baer (1792-1876) A biologist and a geographer
Paul Keres (1916-1975) He was a chess grandmaster.
Jakob Hurt (1839-1907) He is the king of Estonian folklore .
Anton Hansen Tammsaare - (1878-1940) He is an Estonian writer.
Rudolf Tobias - (1873-1918) He was the first professional composer of Estonia.
Lydia Koidula - (1843-1886) She was a poetess of Estonia.
Carl Robert Jakobson - (1841-1882) He was a poet of Estonia.
Friedrich Reinhold Kreutzwald (1803-1882) The first book containing a text in Estonian was published in 1525. The national epic, Kalevipoeg (Son of Kalev), was written by Friedrich Reinhold Kreutzwald (1803-1882) in the mid-nineteenth century.
Marie Under (1883-1980) She was one of the poetess of Estonia.
Oskar Luts (1887-1953) Other Estonian authors include Eduard Vilde, JuhanLiiv, Gustav Suits, Karl Ristikivi, JaanKross, JaanKaplinski, Doris Kareva, JuhanViiding, ViiviLuik and many others.
Johann Koler (1826-1899), an Estonian painter, is considered to be the founder of Estonian art. Eduard Wiiralt (1898-1954) is one of the most interesting Estonian artists of the twentieth century.
August Weizenberg (1837-1921), a classical sculptor, was the founder of Estonian sculpture.
Amandus Adamson (1855-1929) was another famous Estonian sculptor.
Arvo Part, born in 1935, is one of the most frequently performed contemporary composers in the world. In 1970, he produced his original, 'tintinnabulatory' pieces, but achieved his renowned subtlety and world fame with his large-scale religious works in his later period.

LennaKuurmaa born • 26 September 1985 She is an Estonian singer-songwriter and actress.
Urban Symphony • it is an Estonian music group. It represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Rändajad", finishing in 6th place with 129 points.
Estonia is a sporting nation. The most popular sport is basketball. Hockey and football are also played. Estonians are successful in athletics.
ErkiNool won the Gold Medal for the decathalon at the Sydney Olympics. Cycling is also popular with Estonian JaanKirsipuu a leading international cyclist.
Estonians are well known for cross-country skiing, especially Andrus Veerpalu and KristiinaShmigun. They won many world competitions.
