  1. Adolescence • According to Erikson, the primary task of adolescence is to determine who you are. • Teens develop sense of self and goals • Never resolved “once and for all” • Revisited during life transitions (graduation, job, marriage, parenthood, retirement). • So, who are you?

Create a two-sided image (front and back of a sheet of paper), two slide powerpoint, or split Glogster that represents one of the following: Two well defined sides of your personality How you see yourself vs. how others (friends/parents) see you Who you think you are vs. who you want to be Ideas: Images Quotes Lyrics Favorite artists Family photos Your own writing Personal stories (short) Pretty much anything Show me!

Rubric (For each side) • 25 pts: Honest representation of student’s identity • this is a self-discovery activity aimed at demonstrating your understanding of yourself and of adolescence in general, be honest with yourself. • 20 pts: Image meaning is clear or fully explained by student in the collage • 5 pts: aesthetic appeal
