  5. Technical Standards Board The SAE Technical Standards Board is the largest developer of technical standards for land, sea, air and space. Industry, government and the public are served by standards that are used for design, manufacturing, testing, quality control and procurement. • Consists of 15,698 volunteers • Committees - 683 • 505 Ground Vehicle + 178 Aerospace • Key Companies – OEM’s, Suppliers, Government, Industry, Academia • Published Documents – 8709 • 2036 Ground Vehicle + 6673 Aerospace • Additional standards information

  7. QualificationsStandards Committee Member • Expertise in the technology of the specific committee, understanding of the role and use of standards, good communication skills, is willing to work towards consensus agreements.
