Borderline significant increase in the proportion of LOS caused by CONS noted (* p = 0.06). No significant changes observed in other categories of infection. “Before” period, 269 total infections (1/2000-12/2005 at BWH; 3/2005-9/2006 at MGH due to lack of available data at MGH before 3/05) ;“after” period, 69 total infections from 11/2006 to 11/2007 at both institutions. *
