Inputs for Gujarat Weather Watch – 14 July 2014 By Atmospheric Sciences Division Space Applications Centre, ISRO Ahmedabad INSAT-3D satellite observes heavy rainfall over Central Gujarat in today’s rainfall images. WRF model suggests that heavy rainfall may be expected over most parts of Gujarat on tomorrow. More information about other satellite derived meteorological parameters, heavy rainfall areas, AWS observations and weather forecast by WRF model are available at our website : http://www.mosdac.gov.in

INSAT-3D Satellite observes heavy rainfall over the following districts of Gujarat on 14 July 2014 at 0945 AM: These districts and rainfall rates are as follows: • WRF model forecast suggests that heavy rainfall may be expected over most parts of Gujarat state (excluding Kutchh) on tomorrow – Model forecasts included.
