Victim Characteristics • While the victims of bullies are not selected because of external deviations or disabilities; there are certain personality types that tend to be picked on more often.
Victim Characteristics • Typically children who are anxious, insecure, or who lack the ability to defend themselves are often victims of bullies.
Victim Characteristics • Very often bullies select children who are socially isolated by their peers or who have suffered a previous loss or trauma.
The Passive Victims • These are the most common type of victim and are the easiest to identify. The passive victim typically: • Lacks social skills • Cries easily
