About Mrs. Dunn!!! • Graduated from DSHS • Attended Concordia University • Beginning my 18th year of teaching. • Taught 10 years in Killeen ISD Grades 3 and 5) • Taught 3 years in Lake Travis ISD (Grades 5) • Teaching my 5th year in DSISD (Grades 4 and 5) • Married my high school sweetheart, Robert. • Have two children: Riley 14 and Reece 11. • Live here in Drippin’
About Mr. Reincke!!! • Grew up on a small horse farm in Eaton Rapids, MI • Attended Western Michigan University and Hope College • Beginning my 7th year of teaching • Taught 5th grade the last six years in Raleigh, NC • Moved to Austin in July • I love to travel, read, and watch/play sports

5th Grade Curriculum • Math • Language Arts/Reading • Social Studies • Science • Health • The focus will be to provide instruction on your child’s level. I will utilize small and whole group instruction to offer enrichment activities, continued practice, to re-teach and to reinforce skills that were previously taught. I will also encourage and challenge students daily. • STAAR TESTING • March 30th – Math • **March 31st – Reading • April 22nd – Science • **May 12th – Reading Retest • Discuss 3rd Retake
ACE Program • Mission: The Academic Challenge & Enrichment (A.C.E.) Program provides an atmosphere that nurtures the scholastic and creative abilities of highly motivated and academically talented students in the disciplines of Mathematics and Language Arts with integration of Science and Social Studies. • 5 days of curriculum in 4 days • Instruction in the ACE program will be at a faster pace and will include increased opportunities for critical thinking, problem solving, higher order thinking and project-based learning • Website: DSISD homepage under the Academics section Wednesday is Maroon (ACE Enrichment/GT Day)

BYOD Standards • Dripping Springs ISD Elementary BYOD Standards Internet Access: TigerNet • Students must be connected to TigerNet at all times. The password is Tigers2014. • Sharing DevicesStudents must always be the “drivers” of their personal device. They will be encouraged to share the screen with other students, but they must be the operator of the device at all times. • Device UsageDevices are only to be used with a teacher’s direct permission. Devices may not be used in the cafeteria, in the Gym, or at Recess without direct classroom teacher supervision. • ProtectionAll devices are to be in a case or sleeve at all times. • ChargingStudents are to bring their device to school charged and ready for a day of learning. • Search ResultsIf you come across something that you think is inappropriate when searching, please minimize the screen, quietly raise your hand and let your teacher know. He or she will then help you handle the situation. • PhotographsPictures and videos of other students may not be taken on personal devices. • Before posting anything, THINK is it... BYOD STUDENT CONTRACT I, ________________, realize that bringing my own device to school is a privilege and MY responsibility. When I bring my device to school I will wait for my teacher’s permission before using my device. I will use TigerNet. I will always be the “driver” of my device, and will only share the screen with others. I will also make sure never to “drive” anyone else’s device. I will bring my device charged. I will bring my device in a protective sleeve or case. I will always keep my device in a safe place that my teacher or I choose. I will always THINK before posting anything. If I run across something I think is inappropriate I will minimize the screen and quietly show my teacher.I realize that my device is MY responsibility.
