CSC DQA and Commissioning Summary • We are responsible for the online and offline DQA for the CSC system, a US ATLAS responsibility • We are ready for first collisions • We are also responsible for commissioning/operation of the CSC detector • This activity was limited because of the ongoing CSC ROD problems 10/5/2014
CSC DQA Status • Accomplishments • Developed online (GNAM) and offline (Express Stream and Tier0) monitoring packages • For both shifters and experts • At raw, PRD, cluster, segment, and track levels • Integrated, maintained, and validated with ATLAS software • Simultaneously validated CSC reconstruction software • This is the most time consuming task 10/5/2014
CSC DQA Status • Accomplishments continued • Developed associated DQMF , OHP, and HAN files for actual DQ and display • Ensured calculation and DB storage of online and offline DQ flags • Provided documentation on ATLAS and ATLAS Operations Twikis • We continue to optimize the DQA using feedback from CSC cosmic ray runs and eventually collider data 10/5/2014
