  6. #2 Acadian Culture • Descendants of the 16th and 17th century French colonists that came to St Anne’s Point (Fredericton) in the 1700’s Acadian-

  7. Acadian Day Celebrations • parade of noise-makers and Acadian colours characteristic of Acadian Day celebrations Tintamarre-

  8. #3 British/Loyalist Culture • The British/Loyalist culture is what we see primarily in Fredericton. This is where our Victorian homes downtown come from. Also our Legislative Assembly building. • Our officers square downtown is also from our colonial heritage.

  9. Changing of the Guard • Watch as period-dressed guard re-enact a drill ceremony to the beat of a piper and drummer. • 7 days a week 11am and 4pm
