Rijnmond; herstel moet van de export komen • Economie Groot-Rijnmond krimpt in 2013 iets minder dan landelijk gemiddeld • Hoge en snel stijgende werkloosheid groot punt van zorg; dit treft winkelcentra en stadskern • Ook zakelijke diensten verkeren nog in een moeilijke markt • De haven heeft vooral door olie-overslag wel een nieuw recordjaar achter de rug • Herstel moet ook komen uit het buitenland; industrie en groothandel merken dit als eerst • Potentiële groei ligt voor Groot-Rijnmond bovengemiddeld door groeiende aantrekkingskracht stad Economische groei 2013 en (2014) j.o.j -0,7% (1,4%) -1,2% (1,7%) -0,2% (1,6%) -2,1% (1,7%) -0,4% (1,0%) -1,1% (1,7%) -3,5% (1,0%) 2,0% (2,4%) -0,5% (0,8%)
