Release 9 Changes SCR 90618Negative Leave Balances • The credit box on Leave Data Transfer transactions may now be used to indicate negative leave balances
Release 9 ChangesSCR 00116ERI, Gender, and Disability changes • Employee enters changes via EPP/ESS • The current PAR row will be updated to reflect changes entered via ESS and EPIC during nightly processes
Release 9 ChangesSCR 00116ERI, Gender, and Disability changes • HR can use Master File Change Document to enter changes • New Field number codes for Gender and Disability codes are: Gender D00211 Disability D00212 • The field for ERI code is currently available for Master File Change entry
Release 9 ChangesSCR 00143Classification Action Code • Currently, the Classification Action Code in EmpowHR is only used to Inactivate positions in PMSO • Users must manually Inactivate positions in EmpowHR • With Release 9 changes, this field will allow users to Abolish or Inactivate positions in EmpowHR and PMSO
Release 9 ChangesSCR 00306History Correction Improvements • History Override Packages placed in ‘HOLD’ status will be displayed on the Worklist • The package remains on the Worklist until the HOLD status is removed
Release 9 ChangesSCR 00306History Correction Improvements • Update Applied Action will allow changes to the following fields: • Uniform Service Status Code • Special Employment Programs Code • Update is only allowed for PARs applied in a prior pay period • NOA 006 is displayed in the NFC System • No new row is added in EmpowHR • The status of the last PAR remains PRO after the update applies • The update is noted in tracking, but does not appear in history.

Release 9 ChangesSCR 00306History Correction Improvements • The *Error indicator will identify the action within a History Override package that failed the PINE edits The X indicates that the action is suspended

Release 9 ChangesSCR 00306History Correction Improvements • At the end of the processing pay period, cancelled PARs will automatically be removed from EMPOWHR • All History Override packages will start at the History Correction tab • All references to HCUP will be replaced with History Override
Release 9 ChangesSCR 00466Legal Authority Descriptions • Depending on the NOA/Auth combination, Legal Authorities may be generated or cited by the agency • The NOA/Auth combination also dictates which legal Authority appears 1st on the SF50
Release 9 ChangesSCR 00466Legal Authority Descriptions • Table 061 Legal Authority descriptions will be automated within EmpowHR • Only Authority Codes appropriate for NOA will be displayed • After 1st Authority is selected, only appropriate 2nd Authority Codes are displayed • Depending on the NOA/Auth combination, Legal Authorities may be generated or cited by the agency • Only agency cited descriptions will be exported to PPS • SF50 data will print based on OPM regulations
