What We’re Learning: Reading and Language: -s and –ing endings; main idea/details, telling (declarative) sentences Writing: personal narrative Math: Chp 2: Subtraction Concepts Science and Social Studies:How do wild animals take care of their babies? Please practice nonsense words with your child each night. They should not sound them out out-loud, but in their head and read them!! If you have any questions, feel free to call or email me. Sight Words: eat, five, four, her, this, too Practice these every night!! Students must be able to read these words by Friday! Spelling Words: sit, sits, win, wins, fit, fits, hit, hits, nap, naps We will have a spelling test on Friday!! @ Rachel Thorp 2013
