  1. Six-Way 87The Titanic The word “unsinkable” sunk the Titanic. How? a.不會沉的 v.使下沉(sink-sunk-sunk) Because everyone believed it. The ship left Southampton南安普敦, England, on April 10, 1912. She sailed for five days on calm平靜 的 seas, steaming 行駛at about 26 miles per hour. Pretty fast for a ship of over 46 thousand tons.

  2. On April 14, wireless無線電報 reports from ships warned of Icebergs ahead. Actually, six reports came in that day.But the “unsinkable” ship steamed on. No slowing down減速.
